Jonas's Community VS Real Life

Problem: Hunger

In our world, hunger is a really big problem happening all around the world. All these people that don't have food don't have money, and many people died of hunger. Also because the population of human are getting larger and larger but food sources are decreasing, AND because of population especially at sea, caused by ships and by oil killing the fishes and ruining the sea. WE are getting more food than we need, so other people can't have food.

In Jonas's community, the elders control the population by only having 50 people in each year group and appointing 3 babies for each Birthmothers. Also in that community, the people there used bicycles instead of machines with wheels, they also controlled the weather so unexpected weathers can't ruin the vegetation.

3rd Buddy letter to Karuna Haridass

Halo again Karuna,

It's me again, Fritz, your 6th grade buddy. We just came back from ESP and it rocks! We stayed at the Lido hotel, Bogor, for 4 nights and 5 days. We did many fun activities like plantation hike, river hike, and adventure based activities. At plantation hike, we went hiking up a mountain and it is tiring! The best activity is RIVER WALK. We climbed a river and it's hard and fun! I felled 3 times and I was dangling upside down because my left foot is stuck between 2 rocks. And I got a leech on my left arm. ITS FUN! Too bad you aren't staying at JIS. But ESP isn't fully holiday, we have journal time and we filled 2 pages each day.

For Karuna,

Sup? I'm Fritz Hutapea, your 6th grade buddy. You are the highest students in PIE now right? when you are at grade 6, you are a freshman at middle school. Middle school is a really fun place, as long as you don't get your teachers angry and stay out of trouble ( you don't want to know what happened to me). At PIE, you have most of you lessons in 1 place. But at Middle school, you have different classes at different places. You'll get lost on the first day (that's what happened to me) being grade 6 because middle school is BIG, with many modules with letter. There's many new friends at middle school you could have from around the world. The teachers will be kind to you IF you remember to turn in homework (some teachers).

There are many after school activities & clubs you could attend like after school basketbal, math club, ceramics, horseback riding, archery, touch rugby, mac club, and rock climbing. And that's only some of them. You could took 4 languages like French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Indonesia. And you have 2 breaktimes, and 1 lunchtime. Some classes are English class, Art, Indo Art, Design Art, P.E., Math, Science class, Social Studies. There are a big choice of food at the Cafeteria, D'toko, and Booster Hut.


So yeah, Middle School is a fun place. You'll get tired from walking from class to class, but you'll get used to it in a few weeks. Good luck at Middle School!

Wildlife Pictures

This female lion just caught her prey by the neck. That must hurts for the prey, but filled the predator's stomach. That's life for the animals of the wild, kill or be killed.

The deer is running as hard as it can go, but the predator, the cheetah is faster and will catch it's prey anytime now.

These seals are hanging out at the rocks, sleeping, chatting with their seal language or tanning their skin. They're relaxed because there are no predators nearby, or maybe this is what they do everyday.
